ATTACH the strap to the buckle:

1- Open the clasp and slide the back end of the strap (back side up) into the clasp.

2- Firmly press the clasp onto the strap to close.

DETACH the strap from the buckle:

1- Remove the plastic release from the buckle and place one of its ends into the slot in the clasp. Lift the release (let it bend) to open the clasp.

2- Slide out the strap.

FASTEN the strap and the buckle:

Place the strap around your waist, then slide the strap into the buckle as shown till it is comfortably snug.

UNFASTEN the strap and the buckle:

1- Slide the plastic release ½ inch over to the other side of the buckle as shown.

2- Slide out the strap.

CUT the strap to fit:

1- Attach the uncut strap to the buckle and fasten the strap till it fits comfortably in position. The strap will likely be longer than desired.

2- Measure how far from where the tip is to where you would like the tip to end up. Add 3 inches extra for safety and detach the strap from the buckle. Then cut that amount off the end of the strap with sharp scissors.

3- Attach the strap again to the buckle.

4- You may want the strap slightly long for an expanding waist or if not you can redo these steps to shorten it further.
